​Youth Mentor

Support and encourage youth as they explore nature, science, and faith. Mentors help foster confidence, curiosity, and positive relationships.

 

Responsibilities may include:

• Engaging with youth during activities and discussions.

• Encouraging teamwork and leadership.

• Serving as a positive role model.

Camp & Program Support

 Assist staff with day-to-day camp activities to ensure a safe, fun, and organized experience for participants.

 

Responsibilities may include:

•  Helping set up and break down activities.

• Supervising small groups.

• Assisting with meals, transitions, and logistics.

​

Outdoor Activities & Field Trip Assistant

 Help guide youth during hikes, water activities, and outdoor exploration.

 

Responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring safety during outdoor activities.

• Supporting hands-on learning experiences.

• Helping youth connect nature to faith and stewardship.

 

Science & Environmental Education Volunteer

 Share your passion for science and the environment by assisting with educational lessons and demonstrations.

 

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting hands-on experiments and lessons.

• Assisting with data collection and observation.

• Encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.

 

 

Faith-Based Activities Volunteer

 Support devotionals, reflection time, and faith-centered discussions during programs.

 

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with Bible-based lessons or prayer.

• Helping youth reflect on their experiences in God’s creation.

• Supporting a welcoming, inclusive spiritual environment.

 

 

Administrative Support

 Provide behind-the-scenes support to keep programs running smoothly.

 

Responsibilities may include:

• Data entry and organization.

• Preparing materials and packets.

• Assisting with communications.

 

 

Event Planning & Community Outreach

 Help plan and support community events, workshops, and outreach efforts.

 

Responsibilities may include:

• Event setup and coordination.

• Community engagement and tabling.

• Assisting with partnerships and outreach.

 

 

Photography, Media & Marketing

 Help capture and share the story of EoGC through photos, videos, and digital content.

 

Responsibilities may include:

• Taking photos or videos during events.

• Assisting with social media or newsletters.

• Helping tell impact stories (with proper permissions).
